Tower Ambassador

By partnering with top local restaurants and batching hundreds of orders, we make it easy for offices to offer high quality, individually packed meals with no fees or tips. Our mission is to create a seamless, affordable, and joyful lunch experience that benefits employees, employers, and local restaurants.

We are hiring a Tower Ambassador to serve as the primary on site Picnic representative inside office buildings while also supporting operations inside our partnering kitchen facilities. This is a highly visible, trusted role that bridges buildings, kitchens, drivers, and the Picnic operations team.

• →Receive food deliveries from Picnic drivers and verify orders via scanning
• →Transport and organize food at designated locations within office buildings
• →Deliver orders to specific office drop points 
• →Act as the primary on site contact for eaters and office managers
• →Represent Picnic professionally within government and commercial buildings
• →Ensure delivery shelves and staging areas are organized and accurate
• →Support partnering kitchen operations by coordinating orders and handoffs
• →Assist with day to day flow between partnering kitchens and delivery drivers
• →Help onboard and support Picnic drivers as the network grows
• →Provide feedback to operations leadership on process improvements

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain Tier 1 U.S. Background Clearance. Active Tier 1 U.S. government clearance is not required prior to start date but preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and comfortably navigate stairs
• Access to a smartphone with reliable internet
• Strong communication skills, both in person and digitally
• Proficiency in English
• Positive, dependable attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in food service, delivery, or operations is a plus, but not required
• Leadership experience or an interest in taking on added responsibility is an asset

We are seeking candidates with strong leadership potential. Tower Ambassadors who demonstrate ownership, reliability, and people leadership will have the opportunities to take on advanced roles and additional responsibilities supporting drivers, facilities, and/or shift coordination as Picnic expands.

• Part-time employee role
• Hourly pay of $30
• Lunch-hour focused shifts during the traditional work week (i.e., M-F)

• New York City
• In-person role across office buildings, restaurants, and ghost kitchen facilities
