Requirements
~2 min read- Ph.D. or DBA in Marketing or a closely related field, with a focus on theoretical or empirical modeling. Degree at time of application or official notification of completion of the doctoral degree from an AACSB-accredited or EQUIS institution by August 1, 2027.
- Demonstrated potential for teaching marketing courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels
- Demonstrated potential for research, scholarly and creative activities in theoretical or empirical modeling and its marketing applications leading to publications
- Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population, including low socioeconomic and first-generation students

- Peer-reviewed articles published or under review in high-quality academic journals in marketing or closely related fields
- Evidence of effective teaching in marketing or a closely related field at undergraduate and/or graduate level
- Demonstrated commitment to service contributions to the department, college, university, and community
- Experience in successfully working with populations that are demographically and/or socioeconomically similar to the CSULB student body
- Experience in mentoring or supporting students using inclusive and culturally relevant teaching strategies in a diverse classroom
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in various areas of marketing (Mode of instruction may include in-person, hybrid, online, and/or any combination thereof).
- Engage in research, scholarly and creative activities leading to publications and presentations in marketing and related fields.
- Participate in curriculum and program development and keep content current in various areas of marketing.
- Participate in service activities at the department, college, university, and community levels.
