Anticipated Hiring Range: $5,178- $6,067 (Step 1 – Step 9)

CSU Classification Range: $5,877 - $8,561 (Step 1 – Step 20)

Under the general supervision of the Director of Athletics, the Coordinator of Strategic Communications provides leadership for athletics communications, media relations, marketing, branding, digital content, and public affairs. The position develops and executes strategic communication plans that enhance the visibility and reputation of the athletics program, supports institutional priorities, and advances engagement with students, alumni, donors, fans, media, and community stakeholders.

Requirements

  • NCAA Division I or II experience
  • CSU experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, sports management or a related area including two years of relevant experience.
  • Progressively responsible professional experience in athletics communications, media relations, marketing, or a related area.
