About the Role
~1 min readWe’re building our talent pool for upcoming Narrabri based positions and looking for individuals who are natural organisers who are good at multi-tasking. Our Administrative Support Officers provide quality customer service and administrative support services to the Barwon Area team based in Narrabri. This pivotal role provides a wide range of administrative support services to facilitate the operation of the team such as financial and records management, routine correspondence, meeting and event coordination, HR administration and reporting. Working closely with the Area Manager, Team Leader Rangers and Team Leader Field Operations, you will be relied upon to communicate key information, management of due dates of tasks, financial processing and monitoring, recruitment, calendar management and day to day administrative tasks. To ensure the smooth running of the Area, you’ll utilise your savvy business systems knowledge (SAP, CM10, Microsoft Word and Excel) and superior organisational and communication skills.
You’ll be able to demonstrate your attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and provide support within a busy and diverse work environment. You will have strong financial management skills, people management and coordination skills and ideally have previous experience in a similar administration role with knowledge of SAP, records management CM10, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Your communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other staff and stakeholders will be an advantage to you in this role.
- Experience in administration including experience in the use of computer based systems such as word processing, spreadsheet and records management systems.
- Knowledge of financial and human resource management procedures, policies and practices, and contract administration.
