You’ll play a key leadership role at the centre of decision‑making, working closely with executives to help shape priorities, manage risk and deliver sustainable outcomes across NSW.

As Manager Business Advisory, you’ll lead the delivery of strategic financial advice for assigned divisions within Property & Development NSW. You’ll partner with senior leaders to support effective budget management, forecasting, governance and resource allocation.
You’ll analyse complex financial information, translate insights into clear advice and influence decisions across competing priorities. You’ll also lead improvements to financial management processes and systems, and support strong financial discipline and performance across the business.

- Leading divisional operating and capital budgets, forecasts and forward estimates
- Providing trusted financial insights to executives on risks, trends and opportunities
- Advising on business cases, funding submissions and investment decisions
- Working across teams to strengthen financial governance, controls and reporting
- Leading and developing a small team to deliver high‑quality advisory outcomes
Responsibilities

- →The ability to translate complex financial information into clear, practical advice
- →Confidence partnering with executives and influencing decision‑making
- →Proven leadership capability, with experience guiding and developing people
- →Sound judgement and a collaborative, values‑driven approach
Requirements
~1 min read- Relevant tertiary qualification and membership of a recognised professional accounting body (e.g. CPA Australia or CA ANZ)
- Demonstrated experience in senior finance and business advisory roles
- Strong knowledge of government financial frameworks, legislation and accounting standards
