• Salary range from $154,231 to $178,369 plus super and leave loading

EnergyCo NSW is spearheading the transition to renewable energy to deliver clean electricity to the people of NSW as coal-fired power stations near closure.

Our EnergyCo Community Benefits team is currently seeking to appoint a Manager Program Delivery, Social Procurement and Employment Outcomes to play a key role in delivering lasting social and economic benefits from NSW's major renewable energy infrastructure projects. Working closely with industry, government and project proponents, you will lead initiatives that embed social procurement, workforce development and local participation outcomes into project delivery, ensuring regional communities share in the opportunities created by the energy transition.

As Manager Program Delivery, you will provide strategic leadership across complex programs and partnerships, influencing policy, driving collaboration and supporting the successful delivery of initiatives that strengthen local jobs, skills development, supply chain participation and community outcomes across renewable energy projects. You will work with a team across government to develop new programs to support training and employment outcomes in regional NSW.  

The Manager Program Delivery will be required to drive to regional locations and Sydney, as required.

You are an experienced program leader with a strong track record delivering social procurement, workforce development, employment and training initiatives, ideally within major infrastructure or government environments. You bring a sound understanding of major project procurement requirements, including social procurement and workforce development obligations, and can translate policy objectives into practical, measurable outcomes.

You have successfully designed and delivered employment, skills and training programs, particularly in regional communities, while building productive partnerships across government, industry and the community. Your ability to engage, influence and negotiate with diverse stakeholders enables you to navigate complex and sensitive issues, balance competing priorities and achieve consensus. You are experienced in managing contracts, service providers and partnerships, using evidence-based decision making and strong project management skills to deliver workforce outcomes that create lasting community benefit.

• Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline or equivalent experience.

The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is a statutory corporation established under the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 and governed by its Board, appointed by the Minister for Energy.  EnergyCo is a Staff Agency employing all EnergyCo staff and is an agency related to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).

EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Government’s Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, which aims to transform the state’s electricity system into one that is cheap, clean, and reliable. As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020, EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the State’s first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority network infrastructure projects (PNIPs), which are located in the Central-West Orana, New England, South West, Hunter-Central Coast, and Illawarra regions. We work closely with communities, investors, and industry to investigate, plan, recommend and coordinate generation, storage and network infrastructure projects.
