  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $119,329 to $134,463 + super

About the Role

  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant planning and environmental legislation and processes.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to collate and manage data, identify issues and suggest practical options or solutions.
  • Ability to communicate complex planning information clearly and confidently for a range of audiences.
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, submissions, briefing notes, letters and other correspondence to support decision-making.
  • A customer-focused approach, with the ability to respond to stakeholder enquiries and provide accurate information and advice on planning matters.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members, councils, government agencies and external stakeholders to support planning outcomes.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and contribute to project delivery within agreed timeframes and standards.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to analyse information, think critically and contribute to improvements in systems, policies and processes.
