  • Temporary opportunity until June 2027
  • Full-time hours (35 hours/week)
  • Office location based in Newcastle, Dubbo or Grafton with flexible working supported
  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $113,574 to $125,720 + super

Responsibilities

  • Strong experience in land administration, property or tenure management, with an understanding of complex land status matters
  • Knowledge of property law, conveyancing or land dealings, with the ability to interpret and apply government legislation in practice
  • Experience developing and managing project plans or supporting project delivery in a structured environment
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake research, analysis and preparation of assessments or recommendations, particularly in land, planning or property contexts
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across government, industry and service providers
  • Well‑developed written communication skills, including preparing reports, briefings and advice for decision‑makers
  • A proactive, organised approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes in a time‑sensitive environment
  • Tertiary qualifications in property, planning or a related discipline, or equivalent experience working in government land administration (highly regarded)
