  • Ongoing, Full-time role (35 hours per week)
  • Located in Parramatta NSW with hybrid working supported
  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $116,981 to $129,492 per annum plus super

We're looking for a Project Officer to support the delivery of GreenPower’s renewable electricity program and related projects. GreenPower is a national accreditation program, helping households, businesses and organisations support Australian made renewable energy. In this role, you'll work across GreenPower’s renewable electricity program, including operational project delivery, and policy and market development projects.

 

As a Project Officer, you'll provide project management and coordination across GreenPower’s renewable electricity program and projects. You'll be responsible for maintaining project plans and documentation, managing procurement and contract processes, supporting governance and reporting requirements, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

 

You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organisational objectives.

 

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of GreenPower’s renewable electricity program and related projects.
  • Monitoring project milestones, risks, deliverables, and budgets to support successful project outcomes.
  • Collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to identify trends, emerging issues, and project performance insights.

You are a highly organised project professional who can manage competing priorities and adapt to changing circumstances. You have strong communication skills, are solution driven and enjoy working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes.

 

  • Experience supporting the delivery of projects or programs in a complex environment.
  • Strong project management, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Experience preparing reports, briefs, and project documentation.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the energy markets, the renewable energy transition and or relevant sustainability frameworks or programs
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and or equivalent

The National GreenPower Accreditation Program (GreenPower) helps energy users access government-accredited, Australian-made renewable electricity and renewable fuels to reduce emissions. GreenPower is a national program supporting voluntary energy markets and is administered by the New South Wales Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).

 

DCCEEW works to protect the state’s environment and heritage. It leads the way on climate change, driving the sustainable transition to a net zero economy, powered by affordable, reliable, and clean energy. DCCEEW conserves and protects the state’s natural environment. It manages the NSW national park estate, including its rich and diverse biodiversity and Aboriginal cultural heritage for future generations.

 

DCCEEW also ensures sustainable management of water resources across the state, to support the environment, communities and industry.
