Be part of the Development Co-ordination Authority (DCA), a newly formed authority created to drive efficient, coordinated outcomes for major development projects across NSW. As a founding member of the team, you'll have the rare opportunity to help build a high-performing organisation while contributing to projects that leave a lasting legacy for communities across the state.

Join us and help shape the future of NSW through some of the state's most significant development and infrastructure projects. As part of the DCA Technical Advisory team, you'll bring your technical expertise to complex mining assessments, influence decisions that matter, and work alongside experts from across government and industry. It's a chance to take on meaningful challenges, grow your skills, share your knowledge, and be part of a supportive team delivering real outcomes for communities across NSW.

 

You'll provide technical mining advice on major development and infrastructure proposals, working with complex assessments and modelling to help inform planning decisions. You'll build trusted stakeholder relationships, contribute to workshops and site visits, support team capability, and help improve how we deliver services and outcomes.

You'll have the opportunity to apply your expertise to meaningful projects, work with a diverse range of stakeholders, and see your advice influence decisions that shape communities across NSW. It's a role that offers variety, autonomy and the chance to grow your skills while contributing to high-quality planning outcomes

Requirements

  • Degree qualification in a related relevant discipline or equivalent relevant experience e.g., Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Applied Science or Bachelor of Environmental Science.
