Responsible for providing support of HSEQ compliance, management plans and procedures across a range of Construction and Remediation Defence projects. This opportunity will see an experienced HSE Advisor stepping into a well established safety team, overseeing compliance across multiple sites throughout the ACT and broader Southern NSW region.
- Assisting the project team in the preparation and implementation of HSEQ documentation
- Capable of managing incidents and completing reports using the ICAM process
- Administering incident and hazard reporting processes and actions as per company procedures
- Assisting management to encourage a healthy safe and environmentally responsible working culture amongst personnel
- Conduct HSEQ site inspections
- Coach site teams on effective delivery of pre-start meetings and Toolbox meetings
- 1–3 years’ experience in HSEQ, ideally within construction or a similar industry
- Exposure to fitout & façade projects - advantageous
- Basic understanding of safety systems, Quality Management processes, risk assessments and site-based practices
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with site teams
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and build a career in HSEQ
- Well organised, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Team player committed to promoting a positive safety culture
