Duratec (ASX: DUR) is a leading Australian engineering, construction and remediation company delivering complex projects across Defence, Mining, Energy, Marine, Buildings, Infrastructure and Resources sectors. Reporting directly to the General Manager, People & Culture, this position will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of organisation-wide learning development programs that support workforce capability, career growth, compliance and succession planning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Graduate Program, Apprenticeship Program and Traineeship Program, ensuring structured development pathways that support future workforce capability.
  • Design, implement and maintain career pathways, competency frameworks and development frameworks across the organisation.
  • Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS), learning content, governance and reporting.
  • Manage training matrices, workforce competency records and training data integrity.
  • Act as the custodian of training compliance, qualifications, certifications and mandatory learning requirements.
  • Coordinate internal training programs and oversee training administration, bookings and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop and deliver leadership development, coaching and professional development initiatives that enhance individual, team and organisational capability.
  • Partner with leaders across the business to identify emerging capability needs and implement development solutions that support business growth and workforce readiness.
  • Contribute to the evolution of workforce planning, talent development and succession planning practices by providing workforce capability insights and development recommendations.
  • Lead a team consisting of:
    • Content Creator
    • Apprentice Coordinator
    • Technical Coordinator
    • Administration Support

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in Organisational Development, Learning & Development or Talent Management.
  • Experience delivering capability, leadership and early careers programs that support workforce growth and succession.
  • Experience developing competency frameworks, career pathways and workforce development initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
