Responsible for supporting the overall delivery of remediation and protective coating works at the Boddington Gold Mine. This role offers a strong development pathway into Project Management, working alongside experienced leaders on complex site-based projects involving blast & paint and civil remediation scopes.

Operating on a DIDO roster, we offer flexibility for the right candidate, recognising the importance of balancing site commitments with home and family life.

  • Assist the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and delivery of site works at Boddington
  • Provide minor logistical support, including mobilisation planning, materials coordination, and workforce scheduling
  • Undertake administrative coordination, including document control, reporting, and maintaining project records
  • Develop a strong understanding of quality documentation, including ITPs, check sheets, and specifications
  • Support delivery of abrasive blasting, protective coatings, and civil concrete remediation works
  • Coordinate site activities including direct labour, subcontractors, and plant
  • Assist with progress tracking, reporting, and client communication
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements and site standards
  • Participate in pre-starts, toolbox meetings, and site inspections
  • Contribute to cost awareness and basic commercial tracking
  • Ability to balance site coordination and administrative responsibilities
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly around quality and documentation
  • Exposure to industrial coatings or remediation projects (highly regarded)
  • A team player with a practical, solutions-focused mindset
  • Commitment to safety, communication, and continuous improvement
  • Experience in construction, mining, civil, or remediation environments
  • Exposure to or strong interest in blast & paint and/or concrete remediation works
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, supervisors, and crews
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and quality documentation
  • Highly organised with solid coordination and administrative capability
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Interested in further learning, including Nace and management training
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to projects delivered safely, on time, and to specification
  • Eager to grow into a Project Management role over time

Requirements

  • Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant trade background (desirable)
  • White Card
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Police Clearance
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office and project systems)
