Job Summary: The Overnight Sanitation Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing the sanitation team in a frozen dough industrial manufacturing facility.

Minimum 3-5 years of sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in an elevated role. Knowledge of food safety regulations, GMPs, and HACCP guidelines.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Manage the workflow completion of the overnight sanitation team, including scheduling and training.
- Ensure the team follows safety and sanitation protocols, emphasizing proper use of chemicals and equipment.
- Communicate clearly with other departments, including production and quality assurance, to coordinate sanitation needs.
- Oversee the cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment, floors, walls, and other surfaces in the facility, ensuring that all areas meet food safety and cleanliness standards.
- Ensure the sanitation team follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and HACCP guidelines.
- Monitor the effectiveness of cleaning processes and conduct regular inspections to identify and address areas needing improvement.
- Implement proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals used for sanitation.
- Maintain accurate records of sanitation activities, including cleaning logs, chemical usage, and inspection results.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local food safety regulations (FDA, USDA, etc.).
- Participate in audits and inspections, assisting with the preparation and presentation of sanitation records.
- Promote a culture of safety, ensuring team members use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols.
- Provide training on sanitation best practices, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals and machinery.
- Respond promptly to any sanitation-related safety concerns or incidents.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving sanitation processes and efficiency.
Requirements

- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Ability to work overnight shifts and occasional weekends or holidays as needed.
- Proficient in the use of sanitation chemicals and equipment in an industrial setting.
- Familiarity with frozen dough production processes is a plus.
- $18-$24 per hour, depending on experience
Requirements
~1 min read- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a cold or wet environment typical of a frozen dough manufacturing facility.
Schedule: Full-time, Overnight Shift (may include weekends or holidays).
