Custom Software Systems, Inc. (CSS) is seeking a BA/Project Manager – M365 Team Lead to manage operational and project-based work for the M365 team using Kanban methodology. This role combines Scrum Master facilitation, project management, and IT operations leadership across Microsoft 365 and related enterprise technologies. The ideal candidate has experience working closely with network/infrastructure engineers and technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Manage Kanban boards, priorities, workflow, WIP limits, blockers, and team delivery.
  • Coach team members on Agile/Kanban best practices.
  • Plan and deliver M365 projects on time and within scope.
  • Develop schedules, resource plans, risk mitigation strategies, and status reporting.
  • Coordinate with network engineers, infrastructure teams, IT teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Oversee M365 operational work, including requests, incidents, SLAs, and metrics.
  • Coordinate maintenance windows, change management, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
  • Maintain project/technical documentation and ensure knowledge transfer.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5–7 years of IT project management and/or Scrum Master experience.
  • Experience managing operational and project work simultaneously.
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies in a Kanban environment.
  • Experience collaborating with network/infrastructure engineers.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Copilot.
  • Knowledge of email security/flow management, including Proofpoint.
  • Strong understanding of Kanban methodology and metrics.
  • Experience with Jira and GitLab.
  • Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, risk management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent PM certification.
  • ITIL Foundation v4.
  • PowerShell scripting for M365 automation.
  • Microsoft Graph API experience.
  • Hybrid cloud experience.
