This is a full-time onsite position located in Cumberland, RI. The work schedule is Tuesday-Saturday 11:30 PM - 8:00 AM.
CVS Health is seeking a CAS Alarm Dispatch Coordinator to join our team. As a CAS Alarm Dispatch Coordinator, you will be responsible for the identification, tracking and dispatching of potential life safety events across the CVS Health enterprise.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Respond to inbound security alarm events by identifying, tracking and dispatching appropriate authorities and following written instructions for specific events.
- →Monitor video surveillance for breaches in building security and respond by taking appropriate action as determined by written policies and procedures.
- →Ask questions to interpret, analyze and anticipate the caller’s situation as to resolve problems, provide information, dispatch emergency services, or refer callers to other agencies.
- →Dispatch and coordinate the responses of public safety agencies.
- →Communicate with store personnel and local authorities with security related issues.
- →Maintain accurate alarm contacts for registered premises.
- →Partner and corroborate with federal and state government agencies (DEA, FDA, FBI, Board of Pharmacy) to ensure compliance of security alarm systems and frequent communications for active investigations of organized retail crime.
- →Maintain alarm processing database. (Call list updates, code assignments)
- →Remotely access alarm systems and make program changes as needed.
- →Work alongside senior leads to deliver superior security services to CVS Health business units.
- →Work alongside senior leads to deliver quality training and collaboration.
- →Generate alarm related reports for distribution to Loss Prevention and Operations management.
- →Identify, document and create R&M tickets for end users in incident management tracking system.
Requirements
~1 min read- 1+ years emergency dispatch or call center experience.
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Use logic and reasoning to reach conclusions and approaches to problems.
- Use judgment and decision-making skills to evaluate situations, establish priorities, and resolve matters.
- Demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills in fast-paced situations.
- Work under stressful situations.
- Actively listen and communicate effectively through clear speech and hearing.
- Adhere to guidelines, procedures, and directives with attention to detail.
- Demonstrate strong written communication skills, including clarity, accuracy, and proper grammar.
- Establish priorities and pass on information as needed.
- Proven ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast paced work environment.
- Previous experience with Bosch, DMP and Honeywell alarm panels.
- CSAA Level I & II certification.
- High School Diploma / GED or equivalent required

The typical pay range for this role is:
$17.00 - $31.30This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
