Distribution Center Operations Supervisor -2nd shift

The Distribution Center Operations Supervisor provides leadership and direction to a team of 25 + colleagues within a fast-paced warehouse environment. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, optimizing workflow, and driving team performance, this role ensures operational targets are met while fostering a culture of safety, engagement, and continuous improvement. The Distribution Center Operations Supervisor plays a key role in supporting operational strategy, developing talent, and enhancing efficiency across the distribution center.

** Availability to work 2nd shift Monday - Friday 3:30 PM-1:00 AM with flexibility and /or weekends. Hours subject to change based on business needs.***

• →Assists with coordination of processes and assignments for the distribution area to ensure the delivery of consistent work products.
• →Executes daily activities and operational plans for the distribution area's strategies to enhance the culture of excellence and innovation across the enterprise.
• →Manages day-to-day operations in a warehouse section to ensure daily targets are met or exceeded.
• →Conducts performance appraisals using various reports, summaries, and procedures as necessary to resolve problems and improve employee efficiency and warehouse operations.
• →Analyzes reports and provides recommendations to the operations manager on best practices for the section.
• →Coordinates processes and assignments for areas within the warehouse to achieve a balanced workload and meet daily operational metrics.
• →Defines terms for conducting tasks and establishes new priorities for assignments to meet operational success.
• →Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development.

• Minimum 2 years of work experience in in a Warehouse or Distribution Center
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in a leadership role and managing a team
• Experience with continuous improvement methodology

• Working knowledge of business intelligence
• Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills
• Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
• Experience in Lean and Kaizen
• Working knowledge of collaboration and teamwork
  Working knowledge of execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
• Associate degree preferred.

• Verifiable High School diploma or GED

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
