Senior Network Engineer - CONUS

Computer World Service, Corp. (CWS) is pursuing a new contract opportunity, and this position is contingent upon contract award. CWS seeks a highly qualified Subject Matter Expert (SME) to perform as the Senior Network Engineer - CONUS - to provide network (i.e.
- Serve as primary CONUS and global SME for LAN/WLAN/WAN operations
- Lead resolution of complex network issues across all OSI layers
- Provide advanced configuration, installation, and troubleshooting support
- Guide network design, implementation, and modernization initiatives
- Interface with Government, CSPs, GSPs, and external stakeholders
- Develop standards, policies, and technical procedures
- Perform performance analysis and proactive network optimization
- Ensure compliance with DoD/DHA security and architecture requirements
- Support firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS, and Zero Trust implementations
- Mentor and lead network engineering staff
- Bachelor’s degree + 5 years relevant experience
or 10 years equivalent experience - Extensive experience with:
- Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
- Network tools (SolarWinds, Ansible, ARMIS)
- Enterprise LAN/WAN environments

IAM Level III (DoD 8570/8140 compliant)

CCNP (minimum)

CISSP (required)
Work Environment: Work is performed in Government facilities, primarily in San Antonio, TX.
