Position Summary

The Shop Supervisor oversees daily shop operations, leads technicians, ensures customer satisfaction, maintains safety and compliance standards, and drives operational efficiency.

• Lead and support shop employees and technicians.
• Manage daily workflow, staffing, and repair schedules.
• Monitor shop performance and enforce company processes and safety standards.
• Track and improve KPIs related to productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.

• Build strong customer relationships.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Work with Service Managers to ensure exceptional service delivery.

• Supervise, coach, and develop employees.
• Approve timecards and PTO requests.
• Conduct performance reviews and enforce company policies.
• Coordinate employee training and development.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and processes.

• Monitor shop equipment, tools, and facility conditions.
• Communicate maintenance and repair needs.
• Respond effectively to operational issues and emergencies.

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Extensive knowledge of trailer repair and maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and oversee repair operations.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Must pass background check, drug screen, and skills assessment.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks.

• 5+ years trailer or heavy-duty truck repair experience.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferred.
