About the Role

As Daymark’s General Manager for Rhode Island, you will lead and scale a cross-functional clinical and operational team, drive performance improvements, and serve as the regional leader bridging strategy and execution. In partnership with our Market Medical Director, you will strive to grow the Rhode Island market while ensuring that every patient is engaged, supported, and guided with compassion and excellence. Success in this role means establishing operational capabilities, shaping local partnerships, and positioning Rhode Island operations as a benchmark in efficiency and impact for additional markets to follow. 

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for leading Daymark’s Rhode Island market, ensuring patients receive exceptional, whole-person care while driving operational excellence, growth, and partnership development. You will work in close dyad partnership with the Rhode Island Market Medical Director, combining clinical and operational leadership to deliver on our mission.

  • Market Leadership: Scale Daymark's care delivery footprint statewide, delivering measurable improvements in patient enrollment, clinical outcomes, and patient experience.  Institutionalize operational excellence through standardized processes, a culture of accountability, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Team Leadership: Lead recruitment and onboarding for key clinical and operational roles across the state, developing a mature, high-impact team capable of leading independently. Collaborate across Daymark departments (clinical, finance, marketing, product) to integrate Rhode Island efforts with national strategy.
  • Operational Excellence: Partner closely with the Market Medical Director to align clinical and operational priorities, ensuring patients receive seamless, coordinated care.Lead Rhode Island to consistently exceed Daymark KPIs for patient enrollment, clinical outcomes, and patient experience.
  • Partnerships & Market Growth: Build deep relationships with senior leaders of provider and health plan partners to strengthen our networks in Rhode Island and ensure seamless, integrated patient care across all stakeholders.
  • 7+ years in operations leadership. Experience owning KPIs health operations preferred, and experience with multi-site operations or value based care models is a strong plus.
  • Dyad Leadership Experience - demonstrated ability to partner closely with clinical leaders (e.g., Medical Directors, Chief Medical Officers) to align operational and clinical strategies in service of patient outcomes.
  • Deep commitment to delivering exceptional quality of care and support for patients and families, with an understanding of complex care models strongly valued.
  • Strong management experience, with the ability to develop a high performing staff from diverse clinical and operational backgrounds. 
  • Data-driven mindset with a bias to action, and proven experience leveraging metrics to drive performance, make decisions, and communicate progress.
