The Manager, Programs is responsible for driving the establishment, growth, and effective operation of MAGNET (Mental Health Australia General Clinical Trials Network). The role provides strategic and operational leadership to implement the systems, governance, and processes required to support large-scale, innovative clinical trials that improve mental health practice. This includes overseeing MAGNET’s platforms and governance structures, leading the development and delivery of a sustainable business and financial plan, and ensuring alignment with the network’s vision and priorities in collaboration with the grant CIA, Steering Committee, and Secretariat.
- Analyse complex issues and negotiate effective solutions with stakeholders
- Lead initiatives and drive improvement in processes and practices
- Influence and support change across teams and functions
- Build collaboration and partnerships across areas
- Lead sustainable business and financial planning
- Provide expert advice aligned to organisational priorities
- Postgraduate qualifications or extensive relevant experience and management expertise; or equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training
- Experience leading programs or functions and driving improvement
- Strong analytical and strategic capability
- Ability to influence stakeholders
