About the Role
~2 min readThis is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the leadership and operations of one of Deakin's fastest growing and most dynamic Schools.
As the Senior Officer, School Executive Support, you will provide high-level administrative and operational support to the School leadership team, helping to coordinate key activities, manage complex priorities and support the successful delivery of School initiatives.
Working closely with academic and professional staff across the School, you will contribute to effective governance, project coordination, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement activities. Your ability to exercise sound judgement, manage competing demands and build strong working relationships will be critical to your success.
In this role, you will:
- Provide high-level executive and operational support to the School leadership team.
- Analyse information, identify key issues and provide advice to support informed decision-making.
- Coordinate activities, projects and initiatives to ensure successful outcomes.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across the University.
- Manage competing priorities and resolve issues using sound judgement and initiative.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and services.
- Contribute to effective governance, compliance and risk management practices.
- Share knowledge and support colleagues to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
