We are seeking a Junior Automation Support Specialist (Blue Prism) to provide proactive and reactive end-to-end support for enterprise automation solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the sustained operation, monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of automation processes in line with business objectives and enterprise automation strategy.
This role is ideal for a technically strong professional with hands-on experience in Blue Prism production support, automation lifecycle management, incident resolution, and process optimization within a corporate or enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide support for automation solutions, including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, and retirement of bots/processes.
- →Monitor the health and performance of Blue Prism bots and automation workflows.
- →Investigate and resolve automation failures, incidents, and production issues.
- →Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative measures to reduce recurring issues.
- →Monitor queues, schedules, and workloads to ensure smooth execution of automated processes.
- →Support system patches, version upgrades, and automation enhancements.
- →Collaborate with development, infrastructure, QA, and business teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
- →Ensure automation solutions comply with governance, risk, and security standards.
- →Maintain technical documentation, incident logs, and support records.
- →Identify opportunities for automation improvements, optimization, and efficiency gains.
- →Support integration troubleshooting involving APIs, databases, and connected systems.
- →Ensure service levels and operational targets are consistently achieved.
Requirements
~1 min read- Relevant Degree / Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in RPA / Automation Support or a similar technical support role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Blue Prism (mandatory).
- Experience supporting automation solutions in production environments.
- Experience with incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis.
- Understanding of automation lifecycle support and deployment processes.
- Familiarity with APIs, databases, and system integrations.
- Experience with Windows Server environments, VMs, and infrastructure-related support.
- Exposure to enterprise governance, risk, and compliance processes.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Blue Prism certification (advantageous).
- Exposure to other RPA tools such as UiPath or Automation Anywhere.
- SQL/database troubleshooting knowledge.
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, or similar).
- Understanding of ITIL / service management frameworks.
- Experience in banking, financial services, insurance, or large enterprise environments.
