Modeller/Checker

Responsibilities Check shop drawings such as GA’s, assemblies and parts. Ensure drawings are as per structural and architectural documentations. Make sure RFI responses, latest drawings and other pertinent information are reflected on shop drawings. Ensure specs and Australian Standards are followed. Review shop drawing comments Co-ordinate with drafting project manager and generate queries if required. Review RFI responses from builder and check if all responses are clear and all queries have been closed out. Review shopdrawings comments with Project Manger make sure all comments are closed and generates follow-up for unanswered queries. Other Duties  Telephone/reception input as required Assist senior administrative staff as directed, to analyse, rectify and resubmit rejected invoices for the area as received from the client Attends meetings when requested Attends regular meetings as scheduled Attend site meeting if required Prepares clear, professional reports for presentation & discussion at meetings, when requested Requirements Required qualities Professional approach Ability to work under pressure Organisational and time management skills Excellent attention to detail Required competencies Proven experience in comprehensive shop drawing review and documentation management. Commitment to ensuring shop drawings align with project specifications and comply with Australian standards. Strong co-ordination and communication skills.
