The Virginia Office of the Attorney General (OAG) ) is now accepting applications to its 2027 Honors Program. Our prestigious Honors Fellow program offers an unparalleled opportunity for third-year law students to make a real difference in the Commonwealth. Upon passing the bar, you'll be automatically promoted to Assistant Attorney General with a salary increase, providing a clear path to advancement in your legal career.

Minimum Qualifications

To be eligible for the Honors Fellowship, applicants must:
• Be graduating from an accredited law school
• Demonstrate outstanding academic achievement
• Plan to take the July 2027 Virginia Bar Exam

Additional Considerations

Successful applicants are initially hired as Honors Fellows, earning a competitive salary of $70,000. 

The start date will be Wednesday, August 25, 2027.
