Diamond Foundry Inc. is solving the thermal limitation at the foundation of today's most exciting tech industries -- AI & cloud compute, electric-car power electronics, and 5G/6G wireless. We have managed to produce the world's first single-crystal diamond wafers and are now on a mission to put a diamond behind every chip. We are the rare unicorn that has grown fast and profitably. We received $515m in funding and are executing a multi-$B expansion plan for one of the greenest forms of tech manufacturing: converting greenhouse gas into diamond wafers using zero-emission energy.

Diamond Foundry is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead and strengthen our safety infrastructure within a high-tech semiconductor manufacturing environment.
This role will be responsible for developing and driving a proactive safety culture across the organization, ensuring full regulatory compliance while addressing the technical complexity and industrial risks associated with advanced manufacturing processes, including chemical process safety and hazardous materials management.
The ideal candidate brings strong leadership capabilities, hands-on industrial experience, and the ability to partner cross-functionally to build scalable and robust EHS systems aligned with operational growth.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s EHS Management System, ensuring compliance with local legislation and ISO standards.
  • Develop and execute EHS strategy and KPIs in alignment with senior leadership, ensuring adequate safety infrastructure for high-risk industrial operations.
  • Drive advanced chemical process safety programs and hazardous materials management, ensuring safe handling, storage, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance within semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  • Oversee emergency response programs, crisis preparedness, simulation exercises, and safety training programs tailored to industrial and chemical risk scenarios.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action plans, ensuring continuous improvement and risk reduction across production and facilities operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field with a minimum 5+ years of experience leading EHS operations within industrial or high-tech manufacturing environments (not construction industry)
  • Proven experience in advanced chemical process safety and hazardous materials management, ideally within semiconductor, chemical, or similarly complex industrial plants.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • An EHS Master’s degree covering the three technical specialties (Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics/Psychosocial Risk) is required.
  • Professional proficiency in English (written and verbal).
