Monitors overall quality in terms of correctness, completeness, functional and nonfunctional suitability, accuracy, integrity, scalability, reliability and performance of the various components of DN products, systems and networks. Responsible for integrating applications into monitoring solutions and building and maintaining functional and/or performance test frameworks. Analyzes and conducts thorough quality assurance inspections and quality-control tests to ensure that hardware and software operates properly, is defect-free, and meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. Drives continual process improvements in the evolution of testing procedures, including development / application of automated procedures, for future replication.

Responsibilities

• Gains familiarity with Software QA Engineering concepts, practices and methodologies.
•  With guidance, performs basic Software QA Engineering duties, typically in terms of testing and/or inspection, in an assigned area as described below (Functional, Performance or Automation).
• Gains understanding of fundamental Software QA principles, including functional and performance testing.
• Learns and applies DN's Software QA policies and guidelines
• Ability to work with networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, VLANs) 
• Ability to work on electrical mechanical equipment 

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent work experience required, bachelors or associate preferred. 
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Software Quality Assurance, or related experience (installation, troubleshooting) 
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the job (This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, and physically move equipment. Candidates must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.)
• Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
