About the Role
~1 min readWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented People and Culture Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the People & Culture function. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate attendance and workforce records, supporting HR systems administration, and ensuring smooth coordination between team members, Customer Success teams, and internal stakeholders.
The successful candidate will play an important role in monitoring attendance and operational reporting, maintaining employee records, supporting HR administration processes, and contributing to employee engagement initiatives.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in HR administration, HR operations, or employee records management
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and documentation skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to handle confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion
- Ability to work independently and manage operational priorities effectively
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong stakeholder coordination and follow-up skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with HR systems and attendance tracking platforms
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and technology platforms
- Exposure to IT systems and willingness to complete Azure Fundamentals certification is advantageous
- Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Monitor and manage employee time tracking and attendance systems
- Review and verify daily attendance, leave records, and working hours
- Monitor team member logins and attendance records across relevant systems
- Proactively communicate delays, discrepancies, or attendance concerns to the Customer Success team
- Coordinate with managers to resolve attendance discrepancies and missing records
- Generate attendance reports for payroll processing and management review
- Escalate employee unavailability or attendance concerns to relevant team leads and stakeholders
- Monitor system performance and coordinate with technical teams to ensure smooth system operations
- Maintain and update employee records, personal files, and HR documentation
- Ensure accurate data entry and record maintenance across HR systems
- Manage documentation relating to contracts, confirmations, transfers, and employee exits
- Maintain confidentiality and security of employee information
- Escalate system-related issues or data discrepancies to the relevant teams for resolution
- Maintain employee evaluation tracking systems and reporting records
- Follow up with managers to ensure evaluations are completed within required timelines
- Compile evaluation data to support People & Culture reporting and insights
- Maintain accurate documentation of employee performance records
- Support onboarding documentation and employee record creation
- Respond to employee queries relating to attendance, leave balances, and HR documentation
- Provide HR administrative support related to workforce operations and attendance management
- Assist with planning and coordinating People & Culture initiatives and engagement activities
- Support the organisation and execution of internal events, workshops, and team engagement activities
