Tech Lead (HubSpot Implementation)

We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead with deep expertise in HubSpot implementation, CRM optimisation, automation, and full-stack development. This role is ideal for a highly technical professional who can lead the design, integration, and optimisation of HubSpot ecosystems while driving automation, AI-powered workflows, and scalable digital solutions.

You will work across sales, marketing, operations, and technical teams to enhance CRM performance, improve operational efficiency, and deliver intelligent automation solutions that support business growth.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience implementing and managing the HubSpot platform across multiple hubs
• Strong experience configuring CRM pipelines, reporting, workflows, and data structures
• Expertise in sales operations, marketing automation, funnel optimisation, and performance tracking
• Experience building integrations between HubSpot and third-party platforms using APIs and webhooks
• Strong understanding of CRM data governance, validation, deduplication, and process optimisation

• Strong proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3 with experience building responsive and semantic web interfaces
• Advanced JavaScript (ES6+) skills including DOM manipulation and AJAX
• Experience working with jQuery for dynamic content and API interactions
• Experience using Bootstrap for responsive UI development
• Familiarity with tools such as Slick Slider, WOW.js, and FingerprintJS

• Strong proficiency in PHP 8+ with solid understanding of object-oriented programming and MVC frameworks
• Experience working with Apache environments including mod_rewrite, mod_security, and mod_evasive
• Strong knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB including database design, optimisation, and administration
• Hands-on experience building and consuming REST APIs and webhook-based integrations
• Experience integrating with HubSpot CRM APIs for automation and data synchronisation

• Experience working with modern AI and LLM ecosystems such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms
• Experience integrating AI models into live production applications
• Ability to design AI-driven workflows and automation solutions that support real business processes
• Experience building systems that retrieve, process, and utilise structured business data
• Understanding of scalable architectures that support automation and growth

• Experience managing cloud infrastructure environments such as Vultr or similar platforms
• Strong Linux administration skills within Debian/Linux environments including shell scripting and cron jobs
• Experience with Cloudflare for DNS management, CDN, and DDoS protection
• Proficiency using Git for version control and collaborative development
• Strong understanding of infrastructure and application security best practices including:
  • Firewall configuration (UFW)
  • Web Application Firewall management (ModSecurity)
  • Intrusion prevention tools such as Fail2ban
  • File integrity monitoring tools such as AIDE
  • SSL/TLS management using Let’s Encrypt and Certbot
  • Secure SSH configuration and access management
  • Security auditing tools such as Lynis

• Manage and optimise the full HubSpot platform including CRM configuration, pipelines, reporting, and data structures
• Design and implement advanced automation workflows across sales, marketing, and operations
• Support sales operations including forecasting, dashboards, sequences, and performance reporting
• Manage marketing campaigns including email automation, landing pages, segmentation, lead capture, and analytics
• Monitor and improve funnel performance and conversion rates from lead generation through to closed deals

• Build and maintain integrations between HubSpot and third-party platforms using APIs and webhooks
• Oversee Aircall integrations and call automation workflows
• Leverage AI technologies to enhance productivity, personalisation, reporting, and operational efficiency
• Drive data quality initiatives including validation, deduplication, and process optimisation

• Develop and maintain frontend and backend functionality supporting CRM and automation systems
• Build scalable REST API integrations and data synchronisation processes
• Collaborate across technical and business teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions
