Job description: Personal Injury Case Manager Responsible for handling a high volume Personal Injury case load from start to finish including the preparation of legal documents, FOIA requests, client interaction on the phone, via email, and in person, providing a high level of customer service to clients, preparing demand packages, being the main point of contact between the insurance company, attorney, and client, resolving liens and bills with medical providers, and other miscellaneous projects. Expectations: • Responsive, organized, and adaptable to U.S. legal workflows.
Responsabilities: Primary Responsibilities: • Preparing legal documents that are sent to insurance companies and opposing counsel. • Providing customer service on the phone, in person, via email, and through other means. • Returning phone calls and voicemails in a 24 hour turn around period. • Returning emails in a timely manner. • Scanning, uploading, and adding mail to our Case Management Database. • Maintaining files in a neat and organized manner. • Preparing demand packages for submission to insurance companies and/or opposing counsel. • Printing medical bills, records, and other documents for attorneys. • Maintaining confidentiality of all documents. • Meeting with clients in the office. • Disbursing settlement checks to clients. • Providing support to attorneys, the office manager, and other office personnel. • Filling in for the Receptionist, Mail Clerks, and other office positions upon their absence. • Adding faxes to our Case Management system and emailing them out to office staff / attorneys. • Completing daily and weekly tasks.
