As an Unarmed Security Professional at Extrity Services, you play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of clients and their premises. Guided by supervisors and management, you implement security protocols with professionalism and attention to detail, supporting our commitment to operational excellence. Responsibilities include: • Conducting regular patrols of assigned properties • Monitoring facilities and reporting unusual activity • Enforcing access control procedures • Verifying identification and visitor access • Responding to incidents and emergencies professionally • Preparing accurate incident and activity reports • Maintaining awareness of site-specific security concerns • Assisting with investigations when necessary • Providing exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and employees • Supporting a safe and positive environment at all times
Required Qualifications • Active Illinois PERC Card in good standing • Completion of the Illinois 20-Hour Security Training Certification • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to remain professional during stressful situations • Ability to write accurate reports and documentation • Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications • Previous security experience • Patrol and surveillance experience • Experience with access control procedures • Knowledge of emergency response protocols • First Aid and CPR certification (preferred but not required) • Customer service, hospitality, military, law enforcement, or public-facing experience
