Technology / Infrastructure Architect

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Technology / Infrastructure Architect to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide infrastructure solutions that align with business strategies. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud architecture, infrastructure technologies, and enterprise frameworks, with a proven track record of delivering robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure designs. Key Responsibilities: Design and oversee the implementation of enterprise technology and infrastructure architectures. Develop infrastructure strategies that align with business objectives and technology roadmaps. Assess, select, and integrate infrastructure platforms, tools, and solutions. Lead the migration, modernization, and optimization of infrastructure, including cloud and hybrid environments. Ensure infrastructure solutions are secure, reliable, scalable, and cost-effective. Collaborate with stakeholders, solution architects, and engineering teams to deliver architecture blueprints. Define infrastructure standards, best practices, and governance processes. Conduct technology assessments and provide recommendations for improvement. Oversee vendor selection and manage technical relationships with service providers. Requirements Minimum Requirements: Qualification: Minimum NQF Level 7 in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Commerce, Business, or Engineering. Certifications (one or more required): TOGAF 9 AWS Solution Architect Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBok)
