Role Title: Business Systems Analyst Intern
Location: Sudbury
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
Term: 1 Year Paid Internship with potential for permanency

Position Summary
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the Business Systems Analyst Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the organization’s operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives through the analysis, optimization, and support of business systems and platforms. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with internal departments and external providers to identify system enhancements, support reporting and analytics, coordinate training initiatives, and contribute to projects that improve overall business operations and performance.
This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in business systems, analytics, marketing support, and operational improvement initiatives within a fast-faced and growing organization.
Please note: this position is only available to candidates who meet the eligibility requirements for the internship and reside in the Greater Sudbury, Ontario area and must be able to travel to work in the office.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct critical reviews and deep dives into current systems and platform capabilities.
- Identify opportunities for system, platform, and process improvements.
- Work collaboratively with current platform providers to support ad hoc functionality and enhancements.
- Research and source industry-specific systems and platform solutions.
- Coordinate systems information and training for employees and supervisors.
- Provide day-to-day system and platform support to company departments.
- Assist with troubleshooting operational and system-related issues.
- Create reports, dashboards, and analytical presentations for the senior leadership team.
- Support business development and marketing-related initiatives as required.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to systems, processes, and projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational efficiencies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide administrative and project support to the Business Development Manager and Sales team as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field
- Strong analytical, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with business systems, reporting tools, or operational platforms is considered an asset
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively Proficient in Microsoft Programs and Outlook
- Valid driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract
- Must be bondable and legally able to work in Canada
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Bilingualism considered an asset (English/French/Spanish)
Compensation and Benefits
- Wage: $22.00/Hour
