Sand Valley is a golf resort and community settled gently upon 12,000 acres of rugged, pre-historic sand dunes in central Wisconsin. Here, residents and guests will find six world-class golf courses built in harmony with the land: Sand Valley, Mammoth Dunes, Sandbox, The Lido, Sedge Valley, and Commons.  Founded in 2016 by brothers Michael and Chris Keiser, the resort is known for its friendly hospitality and a community of golf and outdoor enthusiasts who have been drawn to the raw beauty and serenity of the vast Wisconsin Wilderness.
 
Beyond premier golf, Sand Valley is a year-round celebration of all the outdoors from fat-tire biking, hiking, and kayaking to ice hockey, skating, or a guided cold plunge. The resort now features a 13,000-square-foot Tennis Center with 16 grass tennis courts and the eleventh Court Tennis facility in the United States. Alongside soul-stirring golf and outdoor exploration, Sand Valley offers a variety of savory dining venues showcasing globally inspired and rustic Wisconsin cuisine.

  • The Food & Beverage Manager leads day to day front of house operations at Sand Valley, helping ensure service feels warm, polished, well paced, and grounded in genuine hospitality. This role stays present on the floor, supports team members, partners closely with culinary leadership, and helps create dining experiences that feel thoughtful and seamless.
  • Lead daily front of house service with a steady presence on the floor and a clear focus on the guest experience.
  • Hire, train, coach, schedule, and support team members in partnership with Food & Beverage leadership.
  • Maintain service standards that are warm, polished, efficient, and consistent across shifts.
  • Partner with culinary and resort teams to support smooth communication and thoughtful service flow.
  • Respond to guest needs with professionalism, care, and sound judgment.
  • Support budgets, purchasing, cost control, labor planning, and other operational priorities.
  • Uphold sanitation, health, safety, and responsible service standards.
  • Help drive revenue through service quality, team training, menu knowledge, and thoughtful guest engagement.
  • Stay informed on hospitality trends and bring practical ideas forward to improve the team and guest experience.
  • At least one year of management or supervisory experience in hospitality, food and beverage, resort, travel, or golf environments.
  • Experience leading front of house teams in a floor based, guest facing setting.
  • Strong communication, organization, coaching, and problem solving skills.
  • Calm, thoughtful approach to guest recovery, team support, and daily service challenges.
  • Basic wine knowledge and interest in supporting wine sales, training, and guest recommendations.
  • Professional presence, positive attitude, and genuine care for hospitality.
  • Comfort working in an active role with extended periods of standing and walking during service.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • This role operates in a resort dining environment with seasonal business levels, active service periods, guest interaction, and regular collaboration across front of house, culinary, and resort teams.
