Kaiseraugst (Basel), Switzerland Purpose of the Role The Associate Director Product Management B&C is globally responsible for the strategic and operational management of a portfolio of Beauty & Care products, predominantly sourced through third-party suppliers. The role ensures supply reliability, cost competitiveness, inventory optimization, sustainability, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction while supporting business growth and innovation. Operating within a highly cross-functional and international environment, the role acts as the key link between Procurement, Supply Chain, Demand Management, Quality, Regulatory, Commercial, Marketing and Innovation teams, as well as external suppliers. Key Responsibilities * Lead end-to-end product management for the assigned B&C portfolio * Collaborate closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Demand Management, Quality, and Regulatory teams to ensure optimal pricing, product availability, compliance, and performance. * Ensure optimal inventory levels with regards to delivery performance and working capital targets * Actively contribute to and support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes * Oversee product specifications, technical documentation, and customer documentation requests. * Actively support innovation initiatives and other cross-functional activities to enable successful launch and market introduction of new products * Identify portfolio growth opportunities and contribute to strategic portfolio planning. * Monitor market trends, competitive developments, and supplier landscapes. * Lead issue resolution and product performance. * Evaluate and onboard new suppliers to strengthen portfolio resilience and competitiveness. * Promote Product Management best practices across the organization. You bring * Advanced degree in Chemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or related scientific discipline. * 10–15 years of experience in Product Management, Procurement, Commercial Management or Project Management within a B2B environment. * Experience in Personal Care, Specialty Chemicals, Ingredients or related industries preferred. * Proven success leading global cross-functional teams and complex stakeholder environments * Proactive, can-do mindset with strong team collaboration skills and the ability to balance operational execution with strategic thinking * Strong knowledge of quality, supply chain, sourcing, forecasting, inventory management, and product lifecycle management. * Fluency in English; German and/or additional languages are a strong advantage.
