Job title – Associate Manager, Projects, APAC, HNC
Location – Singapore
Create and maintain an effective, fit for purpose, network of Contract Manufacturers and Tollers for Market Ready Solutions (MRS) as well as potential expansion of the network to non-MRS projects in the region and manages performance of the manufacturing network.
Assures that the external manufacturers are qualified considering the safety and quality standards as per management directives.
Create & drive the project plan as per the PMP process & drive the project within project team to ensure the project timelines are not compromised
Work with cross-functional teams to set up process & drive global initiatives within the region.
Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management
* Lead the project management of MRS projects, as well as non-MRS projects launching out of CMO/tollers: ensuring clear scope definition, integrated planning, milestone tracking, and on-time delivery.
* Proactively manage project risks, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment, escalating critical issues and ensuring robust execution through close coordination with internal teams and external partners.
* Drive and embed innovation governance frameworks (Stage-Gate) across projects, ensuring structured progression from ideation to commercialization, with defined decision gates, risk assessments, and cross-functional alignment.
2. 3P Operations
* Drive the Demand and Supply discussions in S&OP, and ensure Production, Scheduling and Material Management for all/ assigned Contract Manufactured products
* Manage the resolution of operational concerns with CMO/tollers to deliver better service performance
* Work with procurement, quality teams and supply chain teams to effectively build and manage contracts, cost negotiations, and service and quality standards
* Work with quality teams to review the Quality Management Systems at Contract Manufacturers/Tollers in order to ensure that all products that are released are safe, follow specification, meet applicable legislation and comply with DSM-Firmenich QA standards and processes
3. 3P CMO/Toller Management
* Prepare regular reporting CMO/Toller performance against assigned KPIs targets, analyzing deviations and taking corrective and preventive measures.
* Drive the implementation of new products and processes at our Contract Manufacturers/Tollers.
* Work with procurement to build the start up or phase out of engagements with CMO/Toller as necessary

You Bring:
* Bachelor or Master’s degree
* Minimum 5-year experience in external manufacturing/ supply chain/ tolling or purchasing. Experience in food/ dietary supplements/ nutrition industry.
* Requires knowledge of innovation management or project management. Certifications from PMI would be an advantage.
* Requires knowledge of external manufacturing tolling landscape.
* Requires influencing, negotiation/commercial and ability to work (if needed lead) in a multi-disciplinary team.
