About Essential Products Company EssCo is built on the strong vitamin heritage at the heart of our business. As a focused, stand-alone company, it can be closer to the markets, with dedicated sales and marketing teams clearly positioning the differentiating properties of our leading vitamins, carotenoids and aroma ingredients. The stand-alone set-up further enables a fit-for-purpose production and supply organization, helping ensure cost competitiveness while maintaining the quality, reliability and sustainability standards our customers value. As a Global Logistics Manager, you will lead the design and execution of EssCo's global logistics outsourcing strategy, shaping the company's independent logistics backbone post-separation. You will drive the full outsourcing of logistics activities, manage 3PL partnerships, and ensure seamless operational continuity across regions and functions. The role offers end-to-end ownership of EssCo's global logistics network with significant strategic and operational impact. This is an excellent opportunity to shape a future-fit logistics operating model, influence key business decisions, and contribute to the success of a dynamic international organization. Your key responsibilities * Lead the development and execution of the global logistics outsourcing strategy, analyzing the entire internal and external storage footprint to determine the optimal balance between internal capabilities and outsourced solutions. * Support Global Procurement in the end-to-end 3PL sourcing process, including scope definition, supplier evaluation, commercial negotiations, and contracting. * Lead the global implementation of the 3PL outsourcing model, establishing a central control room to manage transitions, escalate issues, and drive rapid decision-making. * Ensure all logistics operations comply with Feed, Food, Pharma, Safety, Security, and Customs legislation, as well as EssCo's internal SHE and Quality requirements, identifying risks early and defining mitigation measures. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehousing, transportation, and end-to-end logistics flows, defining and monitoring performance indicators to ensure full transparency on costs, service levels, and quality metrics. * Lead and influence cross-functional and regional teams across a complex global matrix organization, ensuring strong alignment between Procurement, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, Finance, D&T, Regulatory, and external logistics partners. We offer * Unique career paths across Animal Nutrition & Health - explore what drives you and get the support to make it happen * A science led company, cutting edge research and creativity everywhere – from biotech breakthroughs to sustainability game-changers, you’ll work on what’s next * Growth that keeps up with you – you join an industry leader that will develop your expertise and leadership * A culture that lifts you up – with collaborative teams, shared wins, and people who cheer each other on. * Customer-first approach, turning ideas into impactful solutions You bring * Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. * 10+ years of global operations and logistics experience, including warehousing, transportation, customs, and foreign trade compliance. * Proven experience leading transformation initiatives, ideally involving third-party logistics (3PL/4PL) partnerships and outsourcing projects. * Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive operational improvements. * Demonstrated ability to operate in a global, cross-functional matrix environment, leading without direct authority and collaborating with diverse stakeholders. * Experience working in highly regulated and multi-industry environments, such as feed, food, or pharmaceutical supply chains, ensuring full compliance and risk management. * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive alignment and commitment across functions, regions, and external partners.
