Internship: Source-to-Pay (S2P) Digital Transformation & AI Projects Are you a motivated student with a passion for digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and business process improvement? Join the Procurement team at dsm-firmenich for an internship where you will support the Source-to-Pay (S2P) Transformation team in implementing AI-driven solutions, developing intelligent agents, and driving the adoption of new capabilities. This is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of procurement, AI, and process improvement while contributing to strategic transformation initiatives in a global organization. What You’ll Do During your internship, you will support the design and deployment of process orchestration capabilities across Source-to-Pay user journeys. You will analyze procurement processes, engage with procurement professionals to identify opportunities for AI and automation, and support the implementation and validation of innovative use cases. In addition, you will contribute to the development of AI-powered procurement agents, helping design, test, refine, and document solutions while researching emerging AI technologies and recommendations for future transformation initiatives. Key Achievements End Goals: \- Contributed to the implementation of AI-driven solutions and process orchestration capabilities that enhanced efficiency and user experience across Source-to-Pay processes. \- Supported the development, testing, and adoption of AI-powered procurement agents, delivering practical recommendations for future AI and automation opportunities within Procurement. What You Bring \- Field of Study: International Business, Business Transformation, Data & AI, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or a related field. \- Experience: Exposure to agent development, process mapping, project management, project support, digital transformation initiatives, or related academic projects is an advantage. \- Skills: Strong analytical thinking, curiosity for AI and emerging technologies, communication skills, structured problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders in a collaborative environment. Eligibility criteria and conditions: * Language requirements: Fluent in English. * Final Selection Day: 01.12.2026 in dsm-firmenich office in Maastricht. * Start of the internship: 01.02.2027 * Duration: 4-5 months. * Studies: currently enrolled at Maastricht University or Zuyd applied science university (hogeschool). Your university will cosign the internship agreement. * Location: dsm-firmenich Maastricht office. * Compensation: Internship salary is €550 per month.
