QC Technician, ING, P&B

Job Title – QC Technician City, Country - Dahej, India As a QC Technician, will be responsible for performing routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products following compliance with ISO and regulatory standards with keeping all documents and records in systems for data integrity and traceability. Responsible for managing lab consumables and spare parts. Responsible for safe handling and maintaining laboratory equipment including calibration/verification and troubleshooting. Actively contributes to departmental goals in safety, health, environment, and quality. Your key responsibilities: * Independently conduct routine and non-routine analyses of raw materials, in-process, and finished products following set procedures and specifications. * Perform sensory evaluation for aroma materials and products, ensuring results are accurate, timely and properly documented. * Complete laboratory records, reports and system entries accurately and on time following requirements for data integrity and traceability. * Participate in investigations related to non-conforming materials/products, laboratory deviations, customer inquiries or complaints and support corrective and preventive actions. * Take care of Analytical Instruments like; GC-MS, GC, Auto Titrator, Karl-Fischer, Polarimeter, Density Meter, RI Meter including calibration/verification and basic maintenance following safety standards. * Ensure adherence to all management systems including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 with an understanding of dsm-firmenich’s Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures. * Maintain spare parts of equipment, chemicals and glassware. * Prepare Standard solutions and reagents for conducting tests. * Ensure housekeeping of lab and safety standards are maintained. You bring. * B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry * 3 - 7 years of Quality Control or Lab experience * Handling of instruments like GC, Auto Titrator, Karl-Fishcer, RI, Density etc. * Familiar with systems, preferably SAP and LIMS. * Knowledge of ISO standards and its documentation * Clear communication and teamwork to collaborate well with QC, Production and cross‑functional partners.
