Job title – Technical Director, Taste, Texture & Health (TTH), Thailand Location – Bangkok, Thailand The Technical Director, Taste, Texture & Health (TTH), Thailand role is based in Bangkok and reports directly to the VP Taste, Indochina. This role requires an experienced and highly capable Technical Director to lead the Thailand Taste, Texture & Health technical organization, delivering sustainable business growth through customer-centric innovation, technical excellence, operational effectiveness, and talent development. As the senior technical leader for Thailand, this role connects customers, commercial teams, application, and R&D to accelerate growth and strengthen market leadership. Key Responsibilities * Define and lead the Thailand Taste, Texture & Health (TTH) technical strategy, ensuring full alignment with country and regional business priorities, and translating market trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics into a clear technical growth agenda. * Serve as the senior technical leader for Thailand, providing strategic direction and scientific oversight across Chemistry & Biochemistry, Sensory Science, and Food Science to strengthen innovation, product performance, and commercial relevance. * Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing technical organization, including Flavorists and Application Technologists, building strong capabilities, succession pipelines, and a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. * Act as a strategic partner to Commercials, R&D, Manufacturing, and Regulatory leadership, driving cross-functional alignment to deliver differentiated, customer-centric solutions and accelerate business growth. * Establish and govern technical standards, operating discipline, and best practices across the Thailand organization to ensure technical rigor, consistency, quality, and executional excellence. * Provide executive oversight for critical customer escalations, complex technical challenges, and high-impact business opportunities, ensuring timely resolution and effective risk management across product, process, and application issues. You bring * Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline; an advanced degree would be an advantage. * Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in food science, flavors, sensory science, ingredient technologies, and product development, ideally within the food and beverage industry. * Deep technical expertise in Food Science, with strong knowledge of beverage, sweet goods, and savory formulations, as well as flavor integration across diverse product applications. * Strong understanding of the chemical composition of flavors, including organic chemistry and the reactions and interactions of flavor compounds. * Possesses deep market and industry knowledge, with a strong understanding of the competitive landscape, evolving consumer trends, customer expectations, and key growth drivers within the food and beverage industry. * Demonstrated success in senior leadership and people management, with the ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing technical teams and build a strong innovation culture.
