We welcome candidates with a broad range of experience levels. While legal experience is important, the Company places particular value on candidates who can effectively support cross-border operations, navigate multicultural business environments and work seamlessly with colleagues and external advisors across the Americas.
In evaluating candidates, greater weight will be given to Spanish language proficiency, Latin American experience, commercial judgment, adaptability and cultural fit than to the number of years in practice alone. Candidates with meaningful exposure to Latin American jurisdictions may be preferred over more senior candidates whose experience is limited to a purely domestic Canadian practice, as the ability to operate effectively in the Company's principal jurisdictions is critical to success in the role.
This position offers the opportunity to work directly with senior management on significant strategic, commercial and governance matters across a leading multinational mining and mining services organization.
