Build and supervise a team of Damage Prevention Technicians who are driven and understand the key performance indicators and economic engines of the business.
The Field Supervisor reports directly to the Operations Center Manager. In this role, the ideal candidate will manage the workflow of their employees, creating team schedules and delegating tasks. He/She will assess the work performance of their employees and identify areas that need improvement. The Field Supervisor will also ensure that business goals, deadlines, and performance standards are met, set goals for the technicians and make sure they comply with the company’s plans and vision.

High school diploma or GED required.

One year or more of proven experience in utility locating or a similar field, with proven high quality results.

Willingness to do overnight travel as needed. (up to 50%)

Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety, both in terms of performance and attitude. We are looking for individuals who prioritize safety in their work, adhere to safety protocols, and actively contribute to creating a secure and healthy work environment. A positive safety mindset and a track record of safe work practices are essential for this role.

Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of utility mapping, equipment operation, and safety protocols.

Ability to deliver effective field training programs.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.

Completes and maintains all training

Drive safely and follow company safe driving policies

Maintain punctuality and attendance at all shifts and training sessions

Perform work in all weather conditions, during normal and after hours

Regular use of hands and fingers to operate specialized equipment and tools

Reaching overhead above the shoulders and horizontally; bending at the waist; standing and or walking for extended periods of time

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
