eCAMION has maintained its flat management structure and start-up culture, despite its steady growth in the industry for the past ten years. You will be working in high-performing fast-paced team, reporting directly to the operations manager.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies
- →Read and decipher schematics, blueprints, drawings, and assembly instructions
- →Position or align components and parts, either manually or with hoists
- →Use hand tools, power tools, or machines to assemble parts
- →Insulate containers and cabinets
- →Conduct quality control checks
- →Comply with and assist with the development of safety protocols
- →Clean and maintain work areas and equipment including tools
- →Prepare work to be accomplished by studying part lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
- →Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
- →Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies
- →Verify specifications by measuring completed components
- →Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources
- →Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs
- →Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- →Maintain inventory by checking stock to determine supply levels, placing, and tracking orders, and verifying receipt of supplies
- →Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
- →Document actions by completing production and quality forms
- →Other duties as assigned
Requirements
~1 min read- 3 years of experience as an electrical/mechanical assembler
- Exceptional understanding and ability to interpret technical documents such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints or other instructions
- Solid understanding of all operating procedures
- Able to use multimeter
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds etc.)
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety rules
- Apprenticeship or specialization is an asset, but not necessary
- Required to Travel to the U.S and Canada for 30% of the time upon commencing employment.
