JOB PURPOSE

 

The Implementation Delivery Officer will be responsible for managing and delivering on the functional areas of the deployment of GenAI and Bromcom for all schools. The postholder will manage, analyse, implement, performance report and deliver on the following functional areas.

 

Implementation Delivery Officer

·         Copilot – licensing management and liaising with the supplier Microsoft account manager

·         Gemini – licensing management and liaising with the supplier Google account manager

·         Collaborating with the eLearning team lead to schedule GenAI deployment and training.

·         Reporting on the GenAI deployment implementation, training and usage figures.

·         Bromcom deployment – Managing the scheduling and deployment of Bromcom to all schools.

·         Collaborating with the Service Delivery team to schedule Bromcom deployment.

·         Reporting on the Bromcom deployment implementation, training and usage figures.

 

This generic job description is intended to provide an outline of the support areas that the post-holder will be expected to undertake across the functional areas (detailed above) within EdIS Implementation team.  Although the post-holder may be assigned to specific functional areas on appointment, in view of the nature of work the post-holder may be required to undertake duties in other functional areas to cover peak periods of work or vacancies. 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Implementation Delivery & Programme Execution 
 

  1. As an Implementation Delivery Officer for EdIS C2k, appraise the developments in GenAI reporting, deployment and implementation to ensure that EdIS C2k is exploiting the potential and opportunities provided by suppliers. The post holder will alongside colleagues represent EdIS C2k in meetings with suppliers to cultivate and maintain appropriate links with those suppliers. 
  2. Contribute to the design of the implementation process for the rollout of services and document processes for EdIS C2k.
  3. Liaise with EdIS C2k technical specialists to ensure that implementation solutions are scheduled in accordance with the wider EdIS programme rollout.
  4. Monitor the effectiveness of service provider support for implementation and ensure that they remain responsive to EdIS C2k needs.
  5. Produce evaluations of proposals from service providers regarding implementation and provide recommendations to senior EdIS C2k staff.
  6. Provide reports in respect of Operational Delivery for any implementation changes produced by service providers or any other source impacting EdIS C2k services.
  7. Provide an ongoing assessment of implementation risks impacting on the Service.  In this regard, develop and manage appropriate mechanisms for identifying implementation risks and constraints and mitigating their impact. 
  8. Develop and manage procedures for conducting appropriate highlight reports with regards to the implementation of the functional areas.
  9. Manage the delivery of implementation work programmes, ensuring activities are completed within agreed timescales and quality standards.

 

Planning, Governance & Reporting

 

  1. Coordinate implementation activities across project delivery to schools, user readiness and service transition. 
  2. Manage and maintain implementation plans, trackers and reporting structures in line with programme governance.
  3. Monitor progress against milestones and escalate risks and issues as appropriate. 
  4. Produce structured reports and briefing material for senior management. 
  5. Support compliance with governance, audit and assurance requirements. 
  6. Work collaboratively with EA teams, schools, service providers and partners. 
  7. Support delivery of communication activities relating to implementation programmes. 
  8. Assist in gathering and responding to stakeholder feedback. 
  9. Promote best practice adoption of EdIS C2k services. 
  10. Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes and service delivery. 
  11. Support development of procedures, documentation and training materials. 
  12. Contribute to service reviews and lessons learned activities. 
  13. Identify and manage risks associated with implementation delivery. 
  14. Ensure adherence to policies, standards and regulatory requirements. 
  15. Support audit-ready documentation and compliance reporting. 
  16. Work with the service providers to deliver appropriate reports.
  17. Contribute to quality assurance frameworks and service validation processes. 
  18. To promote the corporate vision, values and culture of EA as a single regional organisation, in all processes linked to maintenance, development and implementation of assignments within their areas of responsibility.

 

Other duties

 

  • Coordinating Implementation & Communication staff to support implementation of projects.

  • Undertake any other duties commensurate with the grade and scope of the position as directed by Implementation & Communications Manager.
