This position provides HR records and payroll support for the organization, including uploading and maintaining employee records into the Human Resources Information System (HRIS); running background checks; entering time clock edits; answering routine HR records and payroll questions; responding to document requests; and processing summer programs payroll.
Essential Functions:
- Receives, processes, and uploads employee records into HRIS, and ensures electronic employee files are complete, accurate and up to date.
- Processes and reviews background checks and ensures information is uploaded to employee files.
- Enters time clock edits/corrections as requested. Assists with timecard corrections and maintains documentation according to established procedures.
- Assists in monitoring and responding to payroll and HR records communications, including emails, phone calls, and messages in a timely manner. Provides routine information and escalates issues as need.
- Fulfills payroll and HR document requests. Locates required information from correct source and provides accurate information according to established timeframes.
- Provides full-cycle Summer Programs payroll, including time and batch entries, payroll calculations, and monitoring payroll for accuracy.
- Reviews and processes direct deposit rejections and off-cycle checks as needed.
- Responds and provides organizational audit support as needed.
- Effective customer service skills to interact with employees and external contacts in a positive manner.
- Excellent attention to detail for working with HR, time, and payroll records.
- Able to prioritize and multi-task in order to complete tasks that have competing deadlines.
- Knowledge of basic payroll and payroll calculations including taxes and deductions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, and HRIS to manage and processes documents.

Requirements

- Must have current driver’s license and proof of insurance.
- Must complete and maintain all required trainings/certifications.
- Must maintain confidential information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
