Financial Transformation Analyst

This brand new role is your chance to modernise and transform the finance function, shifting it from a reactive, transaction-recording department to a strategic business partner. You'll partner with stakeholders across the business to reshape how finance runs, co-designing automation, embedding AI into BAU and guiding the rollout of new systems and tools.

The impact you’ll make:

• Partner with business stakeholders to analyse the finance processes, identify and assess opportunities, build and deploy automation to reduce manual processes.
• Translate business challenges into clearly defined AI and data-driven solutions, including use case prioritisation, solution design and structured delivery plans. Drive initiatives from concept through to deployment.
• Guide the system implementation, enhancements and integrations.
• Create and maintain process maps, project documentation and business case materials, ensuring compliance with data security and adhering to the group practice.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, scalable and efficient data solutions.
• Lead adoption, training and change activities to embed AI into BAU.
• Act as a subject matter advisor to finance users, providing ongoing guidance, troubleshooting and continuous improvement recommendations post-implementation.

• 3+ years in finance transformation, finance systems or a related data-driven field
• A solid understanding of core finance operations (GL, AP, reconciliation, reporting) across multi-entity, multi-system environments
• Working knowledge of data architecture, data modelling and data pipeline concepts in cloud-based environments
• Practical experience implementing JSM or other workflow automation and API tools
• Familiarity with AI tools in finance, including intelligent automation, document processing and data-driven decision support
• Strong knowledge of data governance, security and compliance, particularly for financial and sensitive data
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn business needs into practical technical solutions
• Effective communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams
