Software Quality Engineer - Juice Games
Quick Summary
you get through the work without being chased, and show initiative when you see a gap. Comfortable switching between multiple priorities without dropping quality.
Juice is a B2B iGaming provider with one audacious goal: to be one of the best game providers in the world.
We're not starting from zero. Juice brings together four world-class studios under one roof: Twist, Massive, Knucklehead and Monstrums, with a catalogue of hundreds of proven titles already loved by millions of players.
- A ready-made catalogue: Hundreds of quality games built over years, not a roadmap, a shelf.
- Game verticals nobody else has: Mystery Boxes, where players win real-world prizes and operators earn higher margins. VOD games, where AI-crafted characters play out real scenarios decided by RNG, a format with nothing like it in the market.
- Battle-tested tech: Our games run on the same platform trusted by some of the biggest operators in the world. Proven at scale, not built from scratch.
- Built for both worlds. Premium regulated iGaming and crypto-native, we speak both languages fluently.
We're growing fast and hiring across development, commercial, operations and compliance.
As our QA Analyst, you are a guardian of game quality at Juice, testing games across our studios, catching what others miss, and making sure nothing ships that isn't ready.
This is a hands-on quality role in a team with multiple moving priorities. You will write and execute test cases for games across our studios, produce clear test reports, and work directly with game squads to get defects found, understood and fixed. You'll also test our internal tooling as we build and introduce it, and support certification testing as we work with external labs. The role is manual-first with automation exposure, and as we build out our automation function, there's real opportunity to grow with it.
We know that innovation ignites when we build and create together, in person. This is a full-time role based in Melbourne, where you'll work right where it all happens, surrounded by our fearless crew shipping high-impact work.
- Write, maintain and execute test cases for games across our studios: Twist, Massive, Knucklehead, Monstrums and The Originals.
- Test new titles ahead of launch: functionality, math and feature behaviour, presentation, and cross-device/browser coverage.
- Report, reproduce and track defects through to resolution, working directly with game squads.
- Produce clear test reports and sign-offs as part of the game delivery cycle.
- Identify common defect patterns across games and studios, and feed them back so issues get fixed at the source, not just per-title.
- Help sharpen test cases and QA practices over time based on what keeps coming up.
- Test our internal tools and systems (client portal, backoffice, CRM and others) as we build and introduce them.
- Work within a QA team juggling multiple concurrent priorities: games in flight, tooling releases, and launch deadlines.
- Support test planning and estimation with the Head of Product and delivery function.
- Support certification testing as we work with external labs.
- 2–4 years' experience in manual QA / software testing.
- Strong test case design and defect reporting: structured, reproducible, clear.
- Sharp eye for detail; you catch what others scan past.
- Strong communicator. Squads, product and delivery all know exactly what you found and why it matters.
- Self-directed: you get through the work without being chased, and show initiative when you see a gap.
- Comfortable switching between multiple priorities without dropping quality.

- You show initiative; when you spot a gap in coverage or process, you raise it and help fix it.
- You're organised under pressure; multiple games, competing deadlines, and shifting priorities don't faze you.
