We are seeking an experienced Senior Trading Operations Analyst to be based in our Hong Kong office. You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless trade execution, settlement, and reporting across multiple asset classes. Beyond daily operations, you will drive process improvements, strengthen risk controls, and support strategic initiatives. This is a hands‑on role for someone who combines technical expertise with leadership skills to manage operational risk and contribute to the continued growth of our trading business.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Manage end‑to‑end trading activities, ensuring accurate execution and timely resolution of issues
- →Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, exchange rules, and internal standards; enforce escalation protocols when needed
- →Enhance systems, workflows, policies, and control mechanisms to improve efficiency and resilience
- →Identify, evaluate, and mitigate operational risks; maintain robust internal controls.
- →Lead initiatives to design and implement new systems that strengthen trading, clearing, and risk management capabilities
- →Partner with Trading, Compliance, Risk, Middle Office, and Technology teams to resolve issues and support new products
- →Work closely with IT to maintain and enhance trading platforms, risk systems, and reporting tools
- →Contribute to building a high‑performing operations team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
- →Deliver timely operational metrics, incident reports, and performance updates to senior management
- →Stay current on global regulatory trends and best practices in derivatives operations.
- →Build strong relationships with regulators, exchanges, and industry bodies to support compliance and strategic alignment
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; advanced degree or CFA/FRM preferred
- 5+ years in trading operations, middle office, or risk management, ideally within a proprietary trading or hedge fund environment
- Experience with process automation and optimization
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and drive operational excellence
- Proficiency in Excel, Python, SQL, and other programming languages is a plus
- Analytical mindset with experience handling large data sets
- Ability to work under pressure with self-motivation and independence
- Diligent and highly detail-oriented
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions
- Hands-on, proactive approach to problem solving
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
