Eclipse Trading is a leading proprietary derivatives trading firm. Founded in 2007, we have over 120 employees across 4 office locations – Hong Kong (our HQ), Sydney, Shanghai and Chicago. Our trading expertise and strategies are deployed across several markets globally, focusing on various products including equity derivatives, delta one, ETFs, commodity derivatives, and cryptocurrency. Our Shanghai office is located in the Xintiandi district and we are looking for Graduate Low Latency Software Developers to join our team.

The successful candidate will take part in a comprehensive 8-week training program in our headquarters in Hong Kong, rotating through various teams across Software Development, Quant, and IT Operations. You will learn under the guidance of an experienced mentor, and your work will be used in actual production, having a direct impact on our trading and market activities.

The Low Latency team is responsible for the firm’s market links and algorithmic trading. Our expertise in market structure coupled with the ability to process information correctly with extremely low latency is critical to the success of our trading. We are one of the top market makers and have one of the fastest software stacks in Asia.

• →Develop low latency software for electronic trading on Linux
• →Participate in code testing and reviews
• →Collaborate with Trading & Quant teams to gather system requirements when necessary
• →Provide Tier 3 application support

• Final-year student or recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
•  Experience with at least one server-side language (e.g., C++, C, C#, Java) and solid Computer Science fundamentals.
• A strong understanding of networking fundamentals, protocols, and architecture.
• Familiarity with or a strong interest in Linux/Unix systems.
• Passion for financial markets (prior financial industry knowledge or experience is not required).
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
• Valid authorization to work in China
