Job Description: CAD Designer (AutoCAD) Location: VIP Road, Vesu, Surat Industry: Design / Product Manufacturing Designation: CAD Designer – AutoCAD Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 1–3 Years Salary: ₹20,000–₹30,000 per month (based on experience and practical skill test performance) Work Mode: In-person / Studio-based Role Summary A reputed design studio is looking for a detail-oriented CAD Designer with hands-on experience in 2D AutoCAD drafting. The role primarily involves converting product concepts, physical measurements, and reference samples into accurate, dimensioned, and production-ready drawings. The ideal candidate should have strong drafting fundamentals, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a studio environment. Key Responsibilities Create precise 2D AutoCAD drawings for various product requirements. Prepare dimensioned production drawings for new product variants. Revise and update existing drawings as required. Convert physical measurements and reference samples into accurate technical drawings. Prepare print-ready drawings for workshop and production use. Ensure accuracy in dimensions, scale, and technical drawing standards. Maintain proper drawing standards and organized CAD files. Coordinate with the relevant team to understand product requirements and drawing specifications. Ensure consistency and accuracy across complete drawing sets. Candidate Requirements 1–3 years of hands-on experience in 2D AutoCAD drafting. Strong understanding of dimensioning, scale, and technical drawing conventions. Ability to accurately interpret physical measurements and convert them into drawings. Excellent attention to detail and consistency. Ability to work independently in a small studio environment. Prior experience in product drafting will be an added advantage. Candidates should be comfortable working on-site/in person. Qualification Diploma / Graduate qualification in Mechanical, Civil, Architecture, Design, or a related technical field will be preferred. Candidates must have strong practical knowledge of AutoCAD 2D drafting. Selection will primarily be based on hands-on AutoCAD skills, relevant experience, and performance in the practical skill test. Selection Process Review of portfolio / previous drawing samples. Practical AutoCAD skill test at the workplace. Short in-person interview. Compensation Salary: ₹20,000–₹30,000 per month.
